Direct interface into Grants.gov for all specified mechanisms during 2006

Targeted implementation of InfoEd proposal tracking & submission by Dec 01, 2006

eSNAP has been enabled

Getting Started Make sure you and your key personnel

are registered in eRA Commons (does not include reviewer registrations)

Download PureEdge software from Grants.gov site

You do not need to register in Grants.gov

Remember, the deadline for submission is 5:00 local time

Grants.gov Process Download program announcement

and instructions from Grants.gov No more unsolicited proposals Each announcement provides specific

instructions related to forms and information for that PA

All work is done outside of Grants.gov Be sure to save file to your computer /

network drive

Grants.gov Submission process (and suggested timeline)

Begin routing near final / final budget for approvals at least 5 working days prior to submission deadline Email attachment or paper Routing form is still paper

Plan to route final proposal to OSP at least 3 working days prior to submission deadline
