Project name: Olympic National Sports ComplexThe reconstruction of the NSC Olimpiyskiy stadium provides the creation of the modern arena, the new symbol of EURO 2012 on the basis of the old building. In the reconstruction project it is saved the existent authen-tic embankment of the lower tier and second reinforced concrete tier of the stands. The new stadium will combine 88-year history of sport in Ukraine, the European experience and advanced technologies.According to the reconstruction project Olimpiyskiy will be universal sta-dium – multifunctional sports arena for hosting both football matches and international athletics competitions.(http://nsc-olimpiyskiy.com.ua)
