A boost for your clients,

a head start for you.

The Ville de Montréal housing programs:

There’s great value in knowing about them.

Everyday, you meet potential clients looking

to buy a home.

How can you stand out and seal the deal?

The Ville de Montréal housing financial assistance programs can be powerful allies.

The Home Ownership Program

A helping hand to get them going…

Depending on their situation, first-time buyers and families

who already own a property can take advantage of:

• A refund of the real estate transfer tax (a.k.a. “the welcome tax”). For a triplex, this refund can be as high as $5850.

• For first-time buyers who purchase a new property, a lump-sum payment of up to $6250 to help cover start-up expenses (notary, moving expenses, decorating, furniture, etc.)

• In some cases, a real estate transfer tax refund AND a lump sum.

And that’s not all:

• Families who purchase an existing property with the help of this program can take advantage of easier eligibility to the city’s renovation financial assistance programs anywhere within city limits.

• Households with children are eligible to receive 6 months of free public transit on purchase of a one-year OPUS full-fare pass… a value of close to

$500.

Suddenly, start-up expenses seem more bearable…

A little help to upgrade a tired home…

There’s nothing like a leaky roof or an outdated kitchen to turn off potential buyers.

The Ville de Montréal has 2 residential renovation

programs to help your clients carry out their projects, and help you overcome any hesitation they may have.

That’s an excellent way to help them grow their asset!
