there. Offkers heard a television earning from inside the apartment,-knocked on. the door, and announced their presence. Officers did not receive an answer and Sgt. Condon subsequently made entry to the apartment through an unlocked window after identifying himself and his purpose. Sgt. Condon then unlocked the front door to allow other officers into the apartment. Officers searched the apartment with negative results and then exited same. Sgt. Condon attempted to lock the window he entered through but determined he could not. He then locked the front door and exited the apartment. SgL Condon confmned the apartment door was locked and then exited the premises.
