Evaluation Comments/Suggestions

“This summit was very encouraging and has stirred me up to really get serious about my college education.”

“Excellent program!” “Perhaps more time for panel

questions” “Thank you” “N/A - Good Summit” “I hope this program continues so it

can encourage more students”

Conclusions

This event was very successful. It is clear from the responses on the evaluations that the students enjoyed the event. Several students commented that they were very thankful for the event and would like to see more like it.

Suggestions/Implications

Minority male students are at a high risk for dropout. They are the least likely to attend college. Holding at least two events per semester will help in solidifying a sense of community among this student group.
