What do we mean by a Category of Works?It’s a system used to quantify the level of physical activity required for provisioning
a circuit. The categories range from 1-5:
Category 1:
Minimal work is required as
capacity into the site already
exists.
Category 2:
New site connection which
may require internal and
external works. Noticing may
be required from the Local
Authorities.
Category 3:
New site connection which
may require digging work
along with internal and
external works. Noticing may
be required from the Local
Authorities.
Category 4:
Case-by-case assessment
required as the new site
would be outside our existing network.
Category 5:
Exceptional events requiring
individual assessment.
(Exceptional events
preventing access e.g.
London Marathon, London
Grand Prix)
INSTALL OPTIONS
Out of hours installs. For an upfront charge of £995 you
can choose to expedite an on-net
