The ICT Literacy Course is designed to help your
teachers enhance their knowledge in ICT. It uses
industrial standard materials to ensure that the
knowledge they gain is current and useful for their
career as educators, at home or elsewhere.
Upon completing the course, they will be able to
demonstrate that they have reached the competency
band required by the Kementerian Pendidikan
Malaysia (KPM).
This guide is prepared to assist you in guiding and
monitoring your teachers’ progress throughout the
course. All contents are accessible anytime and anywhere.
For any assistance, our help desk will be available to
help during the following hours:
Monday through Friday, 9 am- 5 pm Malaysia Time,
excluding major public holidays, and 24 hours
via email.

Accessingthe
ETLN Network
Before you can begin your duty as administrator, you should have received
a login credential. If you haven’t, please contact our Support Assistance.
Once you have received your credentials, you will need to activate your
account.
1. Go to “http://www.etln.edu.my”
2. Enter the “Username” and “Password” given, then click “OK”.

3. Click on “>Login to @learn”.

Note: The login view will be different for different browsers
As administrators, you will be able to monitor the progress of your teachers.
You will have access permission based on your hierarchy of roles in the
Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia. For example, the designated KPM/BPG
officers will have the permission to view the progress of all teachers, the JPN
officers will have the permission to view the teachers in their states, and the
PPD officers will be permitted to view only the teachers in their districts.

Monitoring Progress via ETLN
Note: The page is responsive, hence you can view the portal using any internet-connected devices.
Once you are logged in, you will be directed to the ETLN admin homepage
where you can gather all the data needed for your registered teachers.
1. As an administrator, you will be able to view the summary of the registered
teachers by states, the number of teachers who are in the course and the
number of teachers who has completed the course. You can view this under
“Ringkasan Laporan Kursus“ by selecting the “Course” and the “Year”.
Then click “Cari”.

2. To view the detail of your teachers, click on “Laporan Kursus”.

3. For detailed report, select “Course”, “Year”, and the “Negeri”. Then,
click “Cari”.
4. Once the report is generated, under the “Cari” button, you will see a blue,
red, orange, and green categories for “Berdaftar”, “Belum Mula”, “Sedang
Berjalan”, and “Selesai”, respectively.

- Berdaftar: This is the total number of teachers registered in the course. For
this program, this number remains at 20,000 teachers registered and will not
change.
- Belum Mula: The number of teachers who have not yet started the course.
- Sedang Berjalan: This indicates the number of teachers who has started the
course.
- Selesai: This is the number of teachers who have completed the entire program.
It is defined by completing the course AND completing the Digital Literacy
Competency Self-Assessment with a minimum of 80% correct answers.
5. If you scroll further down, you can also view the data for the progress of
each schools under the categories selected in the previous step.

6. By clicking on the blue button at the end of each row, you can view the
details of individual schools.
7. At this level, you will be able to check on the teacher’s progress of the
school you have selected.
8. Furthermore, you can also view the individual teachers’ course progress by
clicking on the blue button at the end of the row.

9. A detailed report will be generated for you to track the teacher’s progress
at each modules.

Appendix(General Walkthrough of ETLN)
Update Profile
1. On your ETLN homepage, select the Profile icon to update your profile
2. Be sure to update your profile with the most accurate and up-to-date
information. This will allow for administrator to contact you in case there
are any concerns or clarification needed.

Microsoft Office 365 E-mail Access
1. As a part of this program, you have been given a Microsft Office 365
account for your professional use. To access your e-mail, click on either
one of the E-mail icon.
2. You will be re-directed to the Office 365 portal. Click on “Mail”.

Extra Resources
1. Under “My Subjects” of the “Learning Community”, you will find a link
to a board where you can interact with others in the same ETLN community
as you.

2. “Resource Exchange” is a where you can store and share your resources
such lesson plans, articles, and more with others in the same ETLN
community as you.
a) To store resources as a part of your cloud storage, click
on “My Library”.
b) To share and view other resources in your community, click on
“Public Library”.
