The average yearly income of rural families is $200 – 300.

60% have no access to health care

8% Rural Infant Mortality at Birth Maternal mortality in Childbirth is 400 per 100,000 Rural life expectancy is 55 years

MAKING A DIFFERENCEMano a Mano International in the U.S. sets the vision and direction, raises funds and other resources. We accomplish our work in Bolivia through three sister organizations:

– Mano a Mano – Bolivia established in 2000, focusing on health and education;

– Mano a Mano -Nuevo Mundo established in 2005, focusing on rural economic development;

– Mano a Mano – Aviation, incorporated in 2006, transports ill and injured patients from isolated areas to urban hospitals, supports our sister organizations, and assists other NGOs that work in rural areas.

Mano a Mano depends on donors and volunteers to carry out its mission.
