Today Tres14 talks about language.Human being is a social animal. Depends on the group, on its ability to communicate with other people. We have invented thousands of codes, languages, signs, sounds, flags ... to do so.Our next goal is to teach machines to speak and understand what we say. It is not easy but everytime they are getting better. Some people fear machines will finally talk as well as humans and replace us.

Brain wavesHans Berger was convinced telepathy was real. And to prove it he devoted his life to Psychology. He was looking for brain waves emitted when thinking. In 1924 he found them but he played down the importance of those waves. They were too weak to communicate at a distance. However, Berger’s discovery led to the development of electroencephalogram. Today we can measure the electrical waves that occur in our brain to detect and heal diseases. Studying these brain waves on meditating Buddhist monks, scientists have began to understand how attention works. Our brain waves cause neurons to synchronize and focus our mind. Berger never got to know the application of his finding. On June 1st, 1941 he committed suicide.

What would happen if the Earth stops spinning?When we stir water within a glass and leave doing so, the liquid continues moving around. In the same way, our atmosphere would continue rotating. At the Equator at 1.650 kilometers per hour. A so powerful wind will sweep Earth’s surface and water from the oceans will flood continents. To curb the planet we should apply an energy one trillion times higher than all the oil present in the Earth. Doing so we would increase global temperature thousands of degrees and get burnt.
