Summary

• Gates and enhancement of picnic area completed, invoices submitted, payment made and funding received. (£3,000.00)

• The unexpected need to totally replace and enhance the East Lynn Bridge, as the alternative to what was initially anticipated as a reinforcement and repair task, has resulted in significant delay and disruption to the completion of other works. The DCDH are now delighted to be able to report the successful completion of the new bridge which will service the needs of the trail for many years to come.

• Outstanding works, to be funded from LandTrust grant, are now scheduled to be completed by end of August 2019.

• The 3rd August 2019 event has been organised to raise awareness of the paths remediation/enhancement, and to celebrate the benefits of being active and staying healthy.

• The matched funding enhancements of the Fairy Glen project are also captured in the following pictures.
