HOW THE PROCESS STARTED
Following the revision of the EU Directive 2014/95/EU that requires the
disclosure of non-financial information by large organizations, the Group’s
Audit Committee initiated the procedure of CSR reporting.
In November 2016, in cooperation with our external consultants the time
frames and the several steps to be followed were agreed.
The implementation of the project is split in 3 phases:

Defining the Group’s current position regarding social responsibility through
the evaluation of its performance on all ISO26000 core subjects and
considerations. ISO26000 is the International Standard on SR and it has 7
core subjects which will be discussed in the next slides.
Prepare a stakeholder map with all relevant stakeholders to consider in the
report and for further engagement.
Define the material areas of focus and prepare the materiality matrix as
defined by ISO26000.

Steps to define material issues:
PHASE 1: ASSESSMENT
Step 1
• Employees workshop (1 day - 20 people from various departments)
• Discussion on seven ISO 26000 core subjects and ranking as per significance (i.e. how material they are) to the organization.
Step 2
• Preparation of external stakeholders survey (identification of 39 key stakeholders)
• Circularization of short questionnaires via email to stakeholders with a 10- day deadline for responding, to identify stakeholders’ material ISO 26000 core subjects
Step 3
• Gathering of survey responses (82% stakeholder survey response rate) and combination of workshop and survey results
• Compilation of materiality matrix i.e. which ISO 26000 core subjects are material to both the organisation and its external stakeholders
