Description Residentialandcommerciallightingcantakeadvantageoftheadditivecolormixingofred,greenandblueLEDs.ThisreferencedesigndemonstrateshowtoremotelymanagethecoloroutputofanLEDlampwithalow-powerwirelesscontroller.ThecolorisgeneratedbythreeLEDs(red,greenandblue).AnMSP430ultralow-powermicrocontrollercontrolsthebrightnessofeachLEDwithconstantcurrentgeneratedbythreeTPS62260buckconverters,oneforeachLED.
Thecolorlook-uptabletakestheformofanarraystoredintheMSP430.Whenevertherotaryencoderisturned,newred,greenandbluevaluesarereadfromthearrayandusedtogeneratethethreePWMoutputsignals.Currently252valuesarestored,whichcanbechangedifdesired.Adecimalvalueof100switchestheLEDoff,andavalueof65535producesamark-spaceratioof100%.Whenthe5-Vsupplyisapplied,
