Join middle and high school students from around the nation for an intense week of artistry under the direction of St. Olaf College 's acclaimed Fine Arts faculty. You will return home with new skills, new energy, new friends, and a heightened commitment to the arts! Attend camps for Music (June 17-23), Theater (June 17-23), Folk School (July 8-13), and Dance (July 15-19). For more information, visit stolaf.edu/camps.

SCHOLARSHIPSScholarships recognizing creative achievement are awarded to students in all four fine arts disciplines. These scholarships range from $2,000 to $12,000 per year, and are available to all students, regardless of major. Live auditions, interviews, and portfolio reviews take place each spring by invitation. For more information, please visit go.stolaf.edu/finearts.

THE PATH AND OLE ARTS

MAY 4–6Veteran Director/Choreographer/Media Artist Stephan Koplowitz will create a site-specific, immersive performance event using the town of Northfield, Minnesota, as its canvas and subject matter. Comprised of a series of interlaced performances of theater, dance, visual installations, and digital media, this performance event will be inspired by the history, architecture, and unique community of Northfield. Koplowitz is excited to work and collaborate with St. Olaf and Carleton Colleges and the greater Northfield community. Tickets available at: NorthfieldArtsGuild.org starting on February 1.

APRIL 22The Path is an evening-length oratorio based on texts from the Pali Canon, the most ancient Buddhist scriptures. The world premier will be April 22, 2018, at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, featuring performances by over 300 musicians including the St. Olaf Choir, St. Olaf Orchestra, Chapel Choir, and soloists Tracey Engleman, Tammy Hensrud, and Alan Dunbar. Ticket information at stolf.edu/tickets or call 612-371-5656.

Join us after the performance for Ole Arts – an evening of exploration of careers in the arts, and connecting with St. Olaf alumni, parents, and friends of the college working in careers in Arts Management, Dance, Education, Literary Arts, Music, Theater, Therapies, and Visual Arts. This event is a place where inspired conversation and connecting can occur among Oles past and present.

*This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
