This weekend, we wish Fr. Kumud all the best as he celebrates
his final weekend of Mass with us before starting his new
assignment in Poynette and Rio. Please stop by the ice cream
social on Sunday, June 11 at 2 PM at St. Olaf to wish Fr. Kumud
farewell. Thank you, Fr. Kumud, for all your service in Christ, and
we are glad that you will not be going too far away.
Next weekend, we welcome Fr. Dominic Caldognetto, SX, of the
Xaverian Missionaries, who will be preaching the Mission Appeal
next Sunday as part of the annual Mission Cooperation Plan.
Fr. Dominic has served two terms of missionary work in
Bangladesh, where he helped with village evangelization, social
development, and education. The Xaverian Missionaries are a
foreign mission society and they depend greatly on proceeds from
next week's collection. Thank you in advance for your support of
their mission.

Dear St. Olaf Families,
My name is Alicia Zepp and I will be the incoming principal over
in Dane! I am so excited to be stepping up from my role as the
PK/K teacher. Fr. Jared let me write a little something to you, the
families of St. Olaf, letting you know that we want to foster a solid
relationship between our parishes. With so few options for
Catholic schools these days, my hope is to (formally) offer the
DeForest community to join the Blessed Trinity school family. We
have multi-grade classrooms beginning with 4-year-old
kindergarten and going through 8th grade. We strive to provide
the academic rigor that you will find in high-performing public
schools, but further the development of each of our students in
mind, body, and spirit through our faith formation. Our primary
purpose as a Catholic school is to introduce them to the person
of Jesus and walk with students in their journey of knowing who
God is. If you are interested in learning more or coming in for a
tour, I would be happy to meet and talk with you! Check out our
website at btcatholic.us or you can reach me via email at
[email protected]. I look forward to meeting many of you in
the future and hope to hear from you soon.
In Christ,
Alicia Zepp

Seven Sisters Apostolate
A Seven Sisters Apostolate is forming at our church. It is a call to
strengthen the Church by ensuring that a Holy Hour is prayed
each day of the week for the sole intention of a specific priest or
bishop - a “holy wasting” (cf. Mt. 26:10) or lavishing of prayer for
his deeper conformity to Christ. The following link can give you a
more complete overview of what is entailed:
https://sevensistersapostolate.org/.
If you would like to join us, please contact Yvonne Ashen,

St. Olaf Vacation Bible School
St. Olaf will be holding a vacation bible
school this year for children entering
4K - grade 4 on August 16 - 20 from
9:00AM - noon.
We are in need of volunteers: a planning
team, teachers & helpers, crafts, music, games, & snacks, etc.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact Paula Hill
