Object of the Project

• In this project we are going to study and implementing the working model of IR Controlled robot using microcontroller.

Power Supply

EMBEDDED SYSTEM:

• An embedded system can be defined as a computing device that does a specific Application.

• Simply, Embedded system is the combination of both software and hardware.

• Home appliances such as air conditioner, VCD Player, DVD Player, Printer, FAX Machine, Mobile phone etc are some of examples of embedded system.

MICROCONTROLLERPIN DIAGRAM :-

Infrared Radiation

• Infrared (IR) radiation is electromagnetic radiation of wavelength 700nm-100µm

• Here White Color LED Indicates that Transmitter and Black one Indicates that Receiver.

MOTOR• A motor is a mechanical device which converts

electrical energy into mechanical energy.• It work on the principle of Faraday’s laws of

rotation.

POWER SUPPLY UNIT

• It takes an input of 230V AC and 50 Hz supply and converts it into 5V DC supply required.

Step-down Transformer Rectifier Filter Voltage Regulator

PROJECT IMPEMENTATION

• Power supply and IR receiver acts as input devices to the system.

• Motors interfaced through line drivers acts as output in driving the robot.

• And Microcontroller Controls the Motion of the Robot with the Inputs of IR Sensor

CONCLUSION

• Using I.R. We Can Control the Robot • This Can be Future Implemented using RF and

Zigbee and Monitored

RESULT

• Using the Above Components we have studied and implemented a complete working model of IR Controlled robot using microcontroller

FUTURE SCOPE

• Interstellar robotics.• Scavenge robots by adding a mechanical arm.• Metal ore detection.• Can be used in automated vehicle systems.• Mine detection.
