Single Window ClearanceSine Qua Non
The single-window system is a trade facilitation idea. The implementation of a single window system enables domestic as well as international (cross-border) traders to submit regulatory documents at a single location and/or single entity.
— Government: increase in government revenue, enhanced compliance with rules, improved efficiency in resource allocation, better trade statistics,
— Traders: faster clearance times, a more transparent and predictable process and less bureaucracy,
— Customs: improved staff productivity through the upgraded infrastructure, increase in customs revenue, a more structured and controlled working environment, and enhanced professionalism,
— Economy as a whole: improved transparency and governance and reduced corruption, due to fewer opportunities for physical interaction.

Industrial Policy 2013Vision for SWC
— In line with MIDC’s vision of holistic and inclusive growth by turning ‘digital,’ the MIDC has developed an Investor portal
— The objective of this portal is to provide investors a one-stop portal for information, services and consents electronically.
— The Maha eBiz portal provides information for 205+ services, including 45 fully automated services of MIDC, MPCB and Directorate of Industries and 160 non-automated services across various state and central departments, which will be integrated soon.
To further augment single window clearance, the State Government will inter-alia incorporate new
