Let’s dig into the details!

Provides student information that is

pulled from INB Banner.

To run a new audit,

click on “Request Audit”.

The pie chart provides the Total

Hours of the student’s progress in

their program. If you hover over

the pie colours, it will show what is

completed, in progress and

unfulfilled.

This bar will provide the

student’s UM Achieve

GPA. This includes any

courses that fall in the

degree requirements.

These bars provide student’s

progress and GPA in specific

degree requirements (ex: Degree

Core)

This section of the

audit provides detailed

degree requirements

including: admit term,

degree core, electives,

excess courses, etc.

You have 2 options to

view degree

requirements:

-Open all sections

-Open individual

requirements

If this question mark is clicked on, the

following pop-up legend will display

for explanation on items in the audit.

A green box with a √

indicates the

requirement and

sub-requirement is

complete.

Degree information is

broken down into:

-Requirements and

-Sub-requirements

Each sub-

requirement

provides information:

term, course number,

credit hours, grade

and course title.

Transfer courses,

equivalences and

mutually exclusive

courses will also

appear in the audit.

A red box with

an x indicates the

requirement and

one or more

sub-requirements

is unfulfilled.

The audit

displays credit

hours or

number of

courses taken.

Unfulfilled

credit hours

and a select

from list are

displayed below.

A blue box

with …

indicates the

requirement

and/or

sub-

requirements

will be

complete if

the in

progress

course(s)

are

successfully

completed.

This section

displays extra

courses that did

not fit in the

audit’s

requirements.

Below is a legend

available for

reference.

The select from list provides a list of

required courses for that sub-requirement

that is clickable to view a course

description and pre-requisites.

Click on the Course History tab to

view a graph that provides a term

basis for GPA and credit hours.

The chart below provides a list of

courses that are in progress and/or

completed. There is a filter option

to search grades and terms.

The Change Process

Using PROSCI’s ADKAR Model (adapted from PROSCI 2008)

• It is the PEOPLE SIDE of

Change

• Accompanies a project that

requires individuals to adopt a

new: process; software,

technology, etc.

• Without individuals adopting the

change, many projects fail

What is Change Management?

Organizational change can be

represented as three states of change

Current state

Transition state

Future state

How things are done today?

How to move from current to future?

How things will be done tomorrow?

• AWARENESS of the need

for change

• What is the nature of the

change?

• Why is the change

happening?

• What is the risk of not

changing?

The ADKAR Model

• DESIRE to support the

change:

• Personal motivation to

support change

• Organizational drivers to

support change

The ADKAR Model

• KNOWLEDGE on how to

change.

• Knowledge, skills and

behaviours required during

and after the change.

• Understanding how to

change

The ADKAR Model

• ABILITY to implement the

new skills:

• Demonstrated ability to

implement the change.

• Barriers that may inhibit the

change.

The ADKAR Model

• REINFORCEMENT to

sustain the change:

• Mechanisms to keep the

change in place.

• Recognition, rewards,

incentives, successes.

The ADKAR Model

ADKAR Gap Model

Change

Confusion

Resistance

Fear/

Anxiety

Frustration

Backsliding

Developing corrective actions with ADKAR

If the gap is: Corrective actions:

Awareness

Management communicates about the

business reasons for change (why, risk of not

changing, drivers of change); Face-to-face

communications with immediate supervisors

about how the change impacts them directly

Desire

Look for pockets of resistance and identify the

root cause; discuss your desire for resisting

the change

Developing corrective actions with ADKAR

If the gap is: Corrective actions:

Knowledge Training on how to change and the skills

needed after the change

Ability

On-the-job training and job aides to support

the new behaviors; Coaching by

supervisors; Troubleshooting

Reinforcement

Messages by senior leaders and

supervisors that the change is here to stay;

Individual coaching sessions to identity

gaps
