• Private space to experiment in

• No students enrolled

• Available now

• Begin work on future semester courses

• Available upon request

• Must course copy content to semester course

• Blank course shell

• Live course with students

• Available:• Instructor 60 days

before first class• Students 2 weeks

prior to first class

Locating Courses

My Courses Module Course List

The My Courses module and the Courses List tab contain a list of the courses you are enrolled in.

Homepage/ Module Page• Available from course

menu • Display dynamic

– Quickly navigate to course areas

– Customize and personalize the student experience

When Edit Mode is On• Instructors only

• Add content

• Edit course menu

When Edit Mode is Off• Instructors can navigate

• Cannot change course content

• Similar to what students see

Enter Student Preview Mode• Click "eye" symbol to enter Student

Preview Mode

• See your course exactly how a student would see it

Exit Student Preview Mode• Click on Exit Preview

• Select the first option to maintain your courses content

• Click continue.

Default Course Structure• Menu links that are included

course• Packages and Utilities- Copy, import, export, and archive

the course• Help- Access Blackboard Help, as well as the OIT helpdesk

information
