(less than container load), FCL (full container load) as well

Sieber Group possesses all the capacity required for clearing
goods through customs. This saves our customers time and
money. The “authorised consignee”, “authorised consignor”
and “public bonded warehouse” customs models allow customs
to be cleared in our own warehouses and offer our customers
yet another benefit. Specialised customs declarations officers
take care of all the necessary border-crossing formalities at the
Sieber Group‘s border customs offices.

The Sieber Group‘s modern logistics centres are in the Rhine
Valley, around Geneva, in the greater Basel area, in Southern
Switzerland and in the Lucerne and Berne regions as well as
in Switzerland‘s business hub Zurich. This means that Sieber is
never far from its customers, thus enabling outstanding local
distribution services throughout Switzerland.
Our modern fleet of vehicles enables us to guarantee a flexible
service with short delivery times. But this is not just the case in
Switzerland. We offer full local distributions services throughout
Austria from our Lauterach facility. Supported by an integrated
Track and Trace system, we are able to provide full details on the
location, consignment statuses and other relevant information at

Sieber Transport AG was founded by Paul and Erich Sieber in 1975. The company very soon
evolved into a comprehensive logistics service provider.
The establishment of the first branch in the Austrian town of Lauterach in 1996 marked the begin-
ning of the company‘s international expansion. The geographic expansion throughout Switzerland
started in 1998 with the acquisition of the western Swiss logistics company Francey Transports
headquartered in Villeneuve and with sites in Bex and Allaman. Haldemann + Co. AG domiciled in
Pratteln, in the border triangle around Basel, was taken over and successfully integrated into the
Sieber Group in 2003. At the same time, Sieber continuously expanded its network of self-owned
sites in Switzerland adding branches in Zurich-Dietikon, Lugano-Bedano, Chiasso-Balerna, Widnau,
Bern-Stettlen and in Austria with the Wolfurt, Klaus and Vienna sites.
Francey Transports and Haldemann + Co AG, which belong to the Sieber Group, were renamed
Sieber in 2011. Since then, all companies have been trading under the strong Sieber brand.
The successful establishment of the innovative “sieber@home” business area in 2011 and new
services including delivery, erection, assembly, order picking, installation, etc. marked a further
milestone in the Sieber Group‘s history.

Sieber Academy – by practitioners for practitioners
We don‘t just support our own employees‘ training. The Sieber-
Academy also offers training courses and information events to
external logisticians and drivers. This gives logistics specialists
access to high-quality forklift driver and trucking qualifications.
These training courses are conducted by experienced trainers
and take place in an appropriate, practice-adapted setting.
