• Countries will be selected by a consultative process between IFAD and IFPRI

• 4 focus countries will be selected• Interested CPMs will be invited to apply

• Geographic distribution of countries• Extent of rural poverty• Prior work and presence of IFAD and IFPRI in

the country • Relevant on-going grants and loans under

implementation
