Destruction of a storm

Hurricane Irene

This monster storm destroyed these un sturdy houses. This is one of the biggest storms.

Connecticut

In NJ people’s basements were filled with water and so were their houses! Their homes were destroyed.

New Jersey

In this city, lots of people had to evacuate their homes and leave every thing behind. Can you imagine moving somewhere away from your loved ones and nothing to comfort you?

New York

For safety, people loaded up with foods of all kind, taking any thing possible filling almost all food markets in that State. Some parts of this storm were horrifying sights (far left)!

Philadelphia

In this part of town, roads and houses were destroyed

Massachusetts

CaliforniaBoats were flipped over houses were

destroyed and vehicles were under water!!!

Trees were falling over power lines were down trees tipped vertical and smiles were upside down.

Hartford

Enfield’s tree roots were sticking out of the ground and roads were under ground. Some animals had to be saved!
