How to Reset Microsoft Account Password in Windows 8?

For security, it is a good habit that reset Microsoft Account password on a regular

basis. But when you change the password, there are two situations you might meet:

Situation 1: You still remember the old password

Situation 2: You forgot the old password

In situation 1, we reset a more safety password by two options:

1. Use the old password to sign in to

Way 2: Reset the password by using iSumsoft Windows

Password Refixer.

Step 1: Download and install Windows Password Refixer on an operational

computer.

Step 2: Create a Windows password reset disk

Step 3: Power the locked computer on to BIOS, set boot computer from CD-ROM

Drive.

Step 4: Select the User Name and click “Reset Password”.

Now you can see the password status has became “Blank”, which means

you can click “Reboot” to reboot your computer.
