2010-2011 Cohort I: Cohort I: Seven SIG schools served2011-2012 Cohort II: Cohort II: Five SIG schools served2012-2013 Waiver establishing a new accountability

system submitted and approved by USDE2012-2013 Cohort III: Cohort III: Four Priority Schools added

using definition from waiver

• 2012-2013 ESEA waiver created new Focus School classification

• 119 schools identified statewide • Ten percent of Title I schools• Lowest performing subgroups• Significant gaps
