Every Thursday after Economics Unit (Hot Topics will be during 2nd, 3rd, 4th grading periods)

Hot Topics will cover controversial topics in today’s world

You will discuss your opinions with classmates and learn the different political views

Pre-discussion assignment Wednesday nights

Discussion in class on Thursday

Journal/assignment Thursday evening

In addition- you can earn extra credit on Fridays if you do your current event on the topic we discussed

Answer prompts for journal- they will either be turned in on Fridays in class, or submitted online through the webpage (if I post that option for the Hot Topic)

Journals are to be minimum one page in length, stating your opinion
