Hood-Stayz, The Solution,Launched Locally

The secret to a great invention isnecessity. That is what Lisa Levari hasheard many times throughout her life. It’sturned out, that is exactly the case withthe invention of Hood-Stayz.

A few years ago, Lisa was shovelingsnow during a veritable blizzard. As shewas shoveling, her hood kept falling downin front of her face blocking her vision.Frustrated after repeated attempts to posi-tion the edge so that she could actually

see what she was doing, Lisa resolved tofind a real solution.

Lisa’s first thought was to sew a backsection of her hood together to make itshorter but realized she would then haveher face exposed. At that point, the Hood-Stayz idea was born! Lisa created one thatevening and it turned out to be the perfectsolution, as she discovered during Round2 of shoveling.

Since that time, Lisa has used Hood-Stayz in her other jackets and coats. However, circumstances being what theyare, she only recently decided to bring hersolution to the “floppy” edged hood toothers. Hood-Stayz is now also PatentPending.

Lisa is happy to be the cause of a solu-tion to an issue that is not only annoyingbut is also downright dangerous in regardsto obstructing a pedestrian’s vision whilecrossing a street or an outdoor worker’svision while trying to do a job.

Even more heartening, and humblingto Lisa, she was informed Hood-Stayz isalso a wonderful solution for folks whoare developmentally or physically chal-lenged and have difficulty keeping a hoodfrom drooping down and blocking theirvision while outdoors or even whileindoors and trying to keep warm.

“I hope everyone will find Hood-Stayzto be a solution to a little part of theirlife!”, said Lisa.
