1. Intern, Business Analyst
Support the effectiveness and efficiency of the national procurement team by migrating established templates into our system. Activity includes:
- Developing a check list of all templates
- Identify common areas of information
- Develop smart forms templates linking common areas of information
- Testing the new smart forms
- Develop user guides to be used in the Service
- Pilot within a contained environment
- Launch the new suite to the Service (to be supported by Capability training)
- Complete other administrative task as requested from time to time

1. Intern, Contracts Process Support:
Develop the standard operating model and procedure to support the contract life-cycle. From contract negotiation/formation, through to contract expiry/retirement. Activity will include:
- Developing an end-to-end process flow to support contracts
- Documenting the end-to-end process flow by role
- Documenting the processes to support the end-to-end process flow
- Testing the documentation to the process
- Launch the documented process to the key roles (to be supported by Capability training)

1. Intern, H&S Reform Support:
Develop the standard operating model and procedure to support the new Health and Safety legislation. From developing an impact assessment to the service provided by National Procurement through to implementing the required change activity
- Developing an impact assessment in line with the new Health and Safety legislation
- Documenting the impacts and with recommended change initiatives
- Develop required change activity
- Testing the change activity will meet the legislative requirements with minimum business interruption to key stakeholders
- Implement the change activity (to be supported by Transformation Lead)

1. Intern, Contracts Database Project
Support the migration of contract data from the Procurement database Daptiv into the newly created contracts module within Oracle. Activity will include:
- Upload new data into Daptiv
- Data cleansing within Daptiv
- Aligning meta data in the contract header with the detail of the contract within Daptiv
- User acceptance testing of the Oracle system (in line with test scripts)
- Migration of all contracts from Daptiv into the new database
- Reconciliation of data from Daptiv into Oracle

1. Intern, Implementation (up to 2 roles available)
As part of the service delivery team develop the suite of collateral to support implementation of National and Northern Region procurement activity at the District Health Boards (DHBs). This includes:
- Develop and collate material to support local catalogue updates for each DHB
- Distribute material to relevant stakeholders
- Follow up DHBs to ensure procurement initiatives have been activated locally
- Provide general building related support for those located at Connect Level 4 (e.g. provisioning equipment etc.)
- Complete other administrative task as requested from time to time

Provide daily support to the Northern Region CPC team in their activity delivery. This includes:

1. Intern, Learning and Development
Support the National Procurement Service by co-ordinating managerial 1:1 development conversations with all staff and compile the collective identified training needs into a learning and development schedule for 12 months. Activity will include :
- Co-ordinating managerial 1:1 conversations for all staff
- Supporting managers in documenting the identified development plans
- Running a report (through HR) of all the identified development needs
- Collating all information into a comprehensive training needs analysis
- Recommended a list of learning and development topics
- Recommended an approach to rolling out learning and development topics

Provide daily communication support to the National Procurement team in their activity delivery including:
- Compile and distribute the weekly internal newsletter
- Compile identified content for inclusion in the external newsletters

- Initiate and deliver culture based activities
- Provide updates to corporate communications for inclusion in the CEO weekly message
