Hardhack is the first hardware collegiate hackathon on the west coast. The goal isto grow and show that hardware hacking can be as popular as software. We set

our goal to invite over 500 students all over SoCal to participate and build

something relate to hardware.

Why Sponsor?

PennApps has become the hackathon for students to compete in, and sponsorship will give

youincomparable access to the industry’s top tech talent. Although students are free to create theirown hacks, sponsors can influence them through branded prizes, API demos, swag, and tech talks.

Participants come from top CS schools from around the world such as Stanford, MIT, Carnegie Mellon,ETH Zurich and National University of Singapore. Previous hackathons have received considerablepress—past PennApps hacks have gone on to YCombinator and launch assuccessful startups.
