GOOD MORNING, FRIENDS! Last week we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus.
Did you watch church online last week? It feelsreally special that although we have to be
physically apart right now, we are able to worshiptogether with people who live all over the world.
How cool is that?! I recorded a short lesson last week that talkedabout new life, growth, and the beauty and awe-
someness of Jesus. This week there is another celebration that we have
the opportunity to talk about. It isn't as big of adeal as Easter, but it is certainly something that Iwant to mention to you this morning. This upcoming
Wednesday is Earth Day. This is a day that we cantake some time to remember, appreciate, and
celebrate god's creation. it is also a time that wecan remember that god created the whole earth and
everything on it! The same god that createdmountains, sunsets, rivers, and canyons created you!I have a bible verse that i would love to share with
you.To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the
highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.deuteronomy 10:14
After reading that verse and knowing that earth dayis a good time to reflect on creation care, What aresome ways that we could be caring for creation in
our every day lives? what is a part of god's creation that you love?
is there a part of god's creation that makes you feelreally good inside? Maybe a certain place in nature
that brings you good memories? For me, camp crystal is a really special place in
creation that is dear to my heart. the color of thelake and the memories i have there remind me of the
beauty of god's creation. there is a craft that i thought we could do together
today. there is a video teaching you how that islinked on our website. if you make it, pass a photo
along! I would love to see what you create.
