5 Carey students helped the Kenya Red Cross achieve these goals by conducting a project management audit to increase business efficiency during project implementation.

Loss of eye sight has a significant impact on the poor.

Of the world’s visually impaired, 87% live in developing countries and 18% of those who are blind live in Africa.

5 Carey students worked on consulting project for UHEAL, a startup EYE clinic, to improve the financial viability, operational capacity, and social impact.

Access to credit is a problem for the world’s poor. 1 cow can change lives.

5 Carey students performed an evaluation of finance social enterprise in Kenya and provided recommendations that aligned with its future growth plans.

Women are the backbone of most societies, more so in Africa.

6 Carey students worked with Nairobi Women’s Hospital on solutions for inventory management and waste management in the hospital.
