Practical Problems with Chapter 13
Most of the essential information is in writing.
It is not user friendly to the practical person in the
field.
Construction sites have changed and chapter 13 does
not cover these circumstances.
It is a book and not available electronically.
It have to many grey areas.

What needs to happenThe safe and efficient flow of traffic through work zones is a major concern to Client
Bodies, construction industry, businesses and the public.
The aim is to reduce fatalities and injuries from crashes in work zones and to
enhance traffic operation and safety within work zones.
To achieve this we need to adhere to: Standardization ( Same drawings and same training)
Compliance ( All parties involved must work to standardization )
Evaluation ( Non construction body like RTMC must do audits provide SWP)
Implementation ( Resolution by conference)
