Filter QuiltObjectives

Step by Step Directions are in the 1st Hour Digital Art Folder and also on Slideshare

Open Gimp and create a new file that is 8” x 10” Save to your folder as FilterQuiltNS.psd (use your initials)

Choose a photo, crop and resize it to between 1” and 2” Save as FilterQuiltPhoto.jpg

Select all Go to Edit and choose Copy

Paste in your FilterQuiltNS.psd Change floating layer to New Layer Save

Duplicate Layer and move till you have an entire row Save

Leave the first picture as is; go to the next layer Go to Filter menu and apply filters to the photos

Experiment with the Filters Not all of them will work well Do a final save as FilterQuiltNS.psd Flatten Image when done Save as FilterQuiltNS.jpg
