JAMBEROO ACTION PARK— EXCLUSIVE USE FOR UNION MEMBERS
Exciting wildlife shows and loads of animal interaction are what this hands-on zoo is famous for! Meet Elvis, the
crankiest crocodile in Australia; walk with Hugo, the giant Galapagos tortoise; meet reptiles up close with our
roving crew; Have photos with furry and scaly new friends; Visit the magical Lost World of Reptiles; See loads of
cuddly Australian animals; Witness venomous snake and funnel web spider milkings; Visit the children’s adventure
playground; Hand feed friendly kangaroos; Face painting; Roving keeper. There is also an on-site cafe and picnic
area, with free-to-use BBQs, and parking is free.
Taronga Zoo is home to fascinating Australian creatures and exotic animals against the backdrop of the world’s most
beautiful harbour. An action-packed timetable of 20 free keeper shows and talks, gives you and your family an enthralling
opportunity to enjoy and learn about our amazing animals. With breathtaking harbour views and more than 3000 animals in
more than 50 exhibits, wildlife will never be closer than at Taronga Zoo. Don’t forget to check out Taronga’s Wild Ropes, the
ultimate treetop adventure challenge.
With more than 3 square kilometres of wild and wonderful bushland, Taronga Western Plains Zoo is home to over 700 exotic and
endangered species such as black rhinos, Sumatran tigers, Asian and African elephants and giraffes, and offers a safari adventure
right in the heart of NSW. Stroll across the grasslands, hire bikes or a cart, or enjoy a leisurely drive through the zoo in your private
car. It’s an exciting and unique experience in a relaxing environment. Tickets for this venue are valid for two consecutive days;
Sunday 2 December and Monday 3 December.
LUNA PARK Luna Park Sydney is a unique venue on Sydney Harbour offering a traditional style amusement park with 22 rides and
attractions, four fast food / casual dining outlets, a souvenir shop and a 389 space underground car park. Luna Park Sydney
has maintained its original atmosphere, architecture and artworks (many dating back to the opening of the Park in 1935);
offering Guests a unique and authentic experience that can no longer be found anywhere else in the world. Dare to drop
50m on the Hair Raiser and ride "wild" or "mild" on the brand new Tango Train! There's even a mini Ferris Wheel for the
little ones!
Dare to enter the longest, biggest, most exhilarating water thrill ride of its kind in the world; get bitten by the
Funnel Web; or for great family fun enjoy Banjo’s Billabong, a 4 storey aqua play area with a huge tipping water
bucket. There’s plenty of other popular water attractions too; The Taipan, Outback Bay—one of NSW’s largest
wave pools, Rapid River, Billabong Beach, Surf Hill—8 lane aqua racer, The Rock and Splash out water slides.
Don’t forget the Chairlift, Bobsleds and mini golf. There’s so much to do at Jamberoo Action Park… Where you
control the action!
SYMBIO WILDLIFE PARK Pat a koala and walk with a dingo at Symbio Wildlife Park, a short drive south of Sydney at the start of the Grand Pacific Drive. The zoo is home to native and exotic animals. You’ll have the opportunity to get up close to koalas, wombats, dingoes, echidnas, meerkats, red pandas and Tasmanian devils. Behind-the-scenes encounters allow you to really get up close and personal with native and exotic animals. (As places are limited for these intimate experiences reservations in advance are recommended.)
New attractions for 2018 are the Symbio Splash Park - a 450sqm water play precinct, complete with dump buckets, water squirters and fountains, along with a large playground area that will have two large flying foxes, swings, a climbing castle, and more.

your October 2018 dues early! Pick up your tickets
at the Union office. You will need your OK card and
if your partner is collecting on your behalf, they
will need your OK card and their photo ID as well.
To make it fair for everyone, tickets will not be
issued at the venue on the day nor will they be
delivered by organisers or delegates.
How do I get tickets?
Financial members get 5 free tickets for their family
to attend any venue of their choice on the day.
Additional tickets are $30 each, you can buy as many
as you require.
If you have more than 3 children in your immediate
family, you need to have your Medicare card
showing this in order to receive extra tickets for
free.
Retired members get 2 free tickets.
How many tickets can I get, how much
are they, can I buy extras?
All venues operate on the day, no matter what the weather.
There is some important information for some venues to consider, see below for details:
Children 3 years and under do NOT need a ticket for Taronga Zoo, Western Plains Zoo, Symbio or Jamberoo.
Children 2 years and under do NOT need a ticket for the Reptile Park.
Children less than 85cm tall do NOT a need a ticket for Luna Park.
Symbio Wildlife Park has limited space. The CFMEU is not responsible if the park reaches full capacity prior to your
arrival—so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

PYRMONT Open Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm
Tickets will be available from both Pyrmont and Lidcombe offices on the following Saturdays:
Between 9am-4pm— 20th October, 10th November and 1st December.
Tickets can also be collected from Lidcombe office
(12 Railways St, Lidcombe) on Thursdays and Fridays only
from 13th September 8am—5pm.
Newcastle and Wollongong region members please contact
the CFMEU office on 9749 0400 to arrange tickets.
