Following are your teacher’s rules for you to follow in class this bimester. After you read them, sign the list that will be given to you. After you sign that list, you can’t definitely deny that you did not know these rules.----------------------------------------------------------Las siguientes son las reglas de clase impuestas por su profesor para este bimestre. Después de haberlas leído, firmar la lista que se pasará en clase. Los estudiantes no podrán alegar desconocimiento de las reglas de clase.

1. En las primeras dos sesiones de clase de cada bimestre, usted deberá mostrarme el recibo de pago del curso y la tarjeta de notas del bimestre pasado (esta última en el caso de estudiantes regulares).

2. Si no trajo esos documentos hoy (el recibo de pago y la tarjeta de notas), puede escaneármelos y mandármelos por correo electrónico o traerlos la próxima sesión. Si los perdió, deberá solicitarlos nuevamente en la Oficina de Registro y pagar una suma específica por c/u. De los contrario, no podrá estar en la clase.

3. Usted deberá justificar sus ausencias, tardías y salidas temprano por escrito SIEMPRE. De lo contrario, obtendrá un “0” en la evaluación continua y en cualquier otra actividad que se realice el día en que usted faltó. Tiene la siguiente sesión de clase como tiempo máximo para justificar una ausencia.

4. Los documentos válidos para justificar ausencias, tardías y salidas tempranas son:a.a. un dictamen médicob.b. una carta oficial de su trabajo o de alguna otra institución donde estudie.c.c. una carta escrita por el padre de familia o encargado mayor de edad que viva con usted.

5. Es su responsabilidad….a. a. revisar su correo electrónico y esta wiki cuando se le envía o se sube algún material complementario;b. b. ponerse al día cuando se ausente;c. c. hacer el libro de trabajo (workbook) cada vez que se termina una unidad;d.d. conseguir las listas de vocabulario de cada unidad y las respuestas del workbook (válido sólo para English Now).

1. Within the first two sessions of this course, you should show your teacher the receipt that indicates that you paid the course and / or the grade card given to you the previous bimester (if you are a regular CCCN student).

2. If you did not bring those documents today (the receipt and/or the grade card), you can scan them and e-mail them to me as soon as possible or bring them next class. If you lost them, you should ask for a new copy and pay for each document at the Registrar’s Office. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to attend classes.

3. You have to justify all your absences, tardiness, and early leavings in writting ALL THE TIME. Otherwise you will get a “0” in the ongoing assessment and any other activity that would be carried out on that date. Your deadline to justify will be in the following session (in the case of absences) or in the same session where you were late or need to leave the class early.

4. The only valid documents to justify absences are:a.a. a doctor’s certificate;b.b. a letter from your job, or from a teacher or an administrative employee at any institution where you study.c.c. a letter written by any of your parents or adults legally in charge of you who live with you.

5. It is your responsibility to….a. a. check your e-mail and this wiki when complementary material is either e-mailed to you or uploaded here. b. b. catch up after you were absent;c. c. do the workbook after a unit is studied in class. d.d. buy the vocabulary lists for each unit and the workbook answers in the case of English Now students.
