Regulation (EU) No 1889/2005(94)oftheEuropeanParliamentandoftheCouncilintroducescontrolsoncashenteringorleavingtheEUandadutytodeclareanysumofmoneyorequivalentofmorethanEUR10000.Thisbeingaminimumharmonisationregulation,insomeEU/EEAMemberStates(Belgium,Bulgaria,Croatia,Denmark,France,Germany, Ireland, Italy,Luxembourg,Malta,Norway,PolandandSpain),rulesconcerningdeclarationobligationsandcontrolshavebeenextendedtocovermovementsofcashwithintheEU.
