**Make sure students use their planners daily

If a student is absent, he or she can find missing assignments listed in the Class Notes binder (WHITE) on the FRONT table.

Extra assignments sheets are kept in folders according to the day they were assigned.

It is the student’s responsibility to get make up work done on time. I will provide any assistance, guidance or instruction that he or she might require.

If a student is absent due to illness on the day an assignment was given or due, he or she has 2 days to complete it.

Z.A.P. Program(Zeros Aren’t Permitted)

If a student was NOT absent when an assignment was given or due, he or she will receive a ZAP form and be given 50% credit if it is returned the next day.

If the assignment or ZAP form is NOT returned the next day, the teacher will contact the parent, write a referral to guidance, and the student will complete the work in detention for 50% credit.

3 ZAP’s will be cause for a referral even if the work was finally turned in.
