Eligibility
The project must be able to deliver tangible benefits to Queensland cropping agribusiness The project must identify and address the following Mitigation Criteria established in the
Regional Planning Interests Act 2014.a) aim to increase the productivity of cropping in the Stateb) provide a public rather than a private benefitc) aim to provide an enduring effectd) be quantifiable and able to be independently valuede) benefit the largest possible number of cropping agribusinesses, and f) if a cropping activity or cropping system existed for identified permanently impacted
land to which the measures relate – provide a benefit to that system in the relevant local area.
The types of organisations that can apply include, but are not limited to:o Research and development (R&D) organisationso Natural resource management groupso Universitieso Cropping industry agribusinesses seeking to develop or build industry capacity for
the region as a wholeo Grower groups that can demonstrate that a project will deliver productivity to the
wider industry.
