of clinical experience open a wide window for research areas and the

I have always been a keen observer and evaluator of the personal and

professionalchangesresultingfromtheDMTtraining.Thiswasperhaps,the

firststageofmyscientificinquiry,afterwhich,itseemedthatthetimehad

come to empirically examine these changes in a methodological sound

manner. I have studied the changes that occurred during the course of

training as well as the mutual influences of kinaesthetic ability and

personalitycharacteristics, inparticularempathy,openness toexperience

andcontrol.

Theprivilegeofaccompanyingstudentsduringthecourseoftheirtraining

period made me realize that not only personality and physical changes

occur but, those changes can be a scientifically document via empirical

research.

IexploredtheeffectofDMTtrainingonkinaestheticabilityaswellasonthe

relationshipbetweenkinaesthesiaandpsychologicalvariables.

I investigated the relationship between kinaesthetic ability and the

psychologicalvariablesamong(DMT)traineesascomparedtoArtTherapy

andSocialSciencestudents.
