Costumes

Here we can see a classic moustache of the 1970’s, which we will use

regularly in our videos for various characters, for example, the runner

and the man at the picnic.

The costume of the 118 runner is something that we will base our

costume around for the runner in our video. We will add sweat bands

and avoid the 118 logo.

Here are stereotypical types of clothing that you would see in the 1970’s

when the song was written. We will use a variety of these types of

costumes in order to add to the idea of the 70’s theme.

As the hippie look was so popular in the 70’s, we thought it would

be suitable to use there fashion in our video. This may not be used

for a specific character, but someone who is a part of the

performance aspect of the video.

As we are using a busker in our video, it is a possibility that we

will stick with the theme of a 70’s stereotype. It is also possible

that we will endorse this hippie look again with this character.

Here we can see the Electric Light Orchestra, who wrote the song

in question. Due to much of our video being based around a band,

we thought it would be useful to take inspiration from the band

who wrote our song, by replicating some of their fashion used.

Here is a classic 70’s dress, that will be used for our picnic scene

in during the second verse. The use of the colours and patterns on

the dress highlights that this is a summer dress, which fits in well

with the mood we will be establishing in our video.

The choir here will be similar to the one used in our video toward

the end of the song. The use of the old fashioned gowns and style

again employs this idea of stereotypical characters and outfits.
