SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Get Involved – Become A Royal Cornwall Museum
Volunteer!
With Sunday’s night new phenomenon Poldark capturing the
nations’ hearts, there’s never been a better time to get involved
and volunteer at the Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro.
We’re looking for volunteers to get involved in a range of exciting
projects working behind the scenes with exhibits or in
maintenance and much, much more.
Our volunteering and internship programmes are designed to
benefit those taking part as much as they support the museum,
and provide a rewarding and enriching experience for all.
Volunteers are vital to our work - we simply couldn’t operate
without them.
We can cover expenses (up to £10 per day) and provide a
reference to help you in your chosen career.
If you would like to join the team at the museum, use your skills or
perhaps learn new ones then please call 01872 272205 and speak
to Maggie Greenall or email

The application deadline for new full-time students to apply for
student finance for AY2015/16 has now passed. New students who
are starting a course this autumn are encouraged to apply for
student finance online as soon as possible, to make sure they
have some of their funding in place as close as possible to the
start of their course.
It takes at least six weeks to process student finance applications
and we will do everything we can to process all applications
before the start of the academic year. However, by applying after
the deadline, students may not have all of their student finance
funding in place for the start of their course. Students don’t need
to have a confirmed place to apply; they can use their preferred
choice of course and change it later if they need to.
For continuing full-time students, the deadline is Tuesday 30th
June so please submit your applications as soon as possible.
The quickest and easiest way
to apply is online at www.gov.uk/studentfinance
For a range of helpful tools and guidance for students visit our
dedicated student finance zone

Could you please all ensure that your address details are correct on
our system. This is important for 1st and 2nd year students on all courses.
Your results will automatically be sent to your HOME address. If
you are moving or your address is incorrect, please make sure that
you fill in a change of address form with your new details.
It is important to note that your results are sent out to you from
Camborne and not Newquay and any results / certificates sent to
you at the wrong address will require you to pay a fee for a
duplicate copy to be sent to your correct address, this will also
result in a delay in you receiving your results.
You will need to let me know if you require your address changing by
30th June 2015 to enable me to update the system for you. It is
very important that we hold the correct address for you as all
certificates and results will be sent to the address logged on the
system.
Re-sit work will also be sent to your home address.
Please fill in a Change of Address Form which is available from
Reception. Please make sure that you fully complete this form with
all your details. We cannot change addresses on the system without
the form.
Many thanks
