CONDITIONSOFCOMPETITION1. ORGANIZER

CIPUTRA GOLFPRENEUR JUNIORWORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2019will bemanaged by championship committeewhosedecisioninallmattersrelatingtothechampionshipshallbefinal.Hereinaftercalledthe“Committee”.

2. VENUE&DATES

DamaiIndahGolf–PantaiIndahKapukCourse,MAY21–23,2019.3. ELIGIBILITY

TheChampionshipisopentoalljuniorgolferswhoareunder19yearsofageonJune15,2019andsimilarlyfortheiragegroups.AllplayersmustbeanamateurinaccordancewiththerulesofamateurstatusasapprovedbytheR&ARulesLimitedandtheUnitedStatesGolfAssociation,ANDhavenotgraduatedhighschoolasofJanuary1,2019areeligible.

4. STATUS&SANCTIONING(ForplayerswhoholdanactiveJGTATourcardormemberoftheAmericanJuniorGolfAssociation(AJGA)orholdanactiveJuniororJuniorPlusmembershipandplayingunderClassA&B).SanctioningThiseventsanctionedbytheJuniorGolfTourofAsia.Thiseventresultswillcounttowardsplayers’JGTAJuniorOrderofMeritstanding,whichawardsAJGAPBEstatusperfinalrankingattheendoftheJGTAseason.JuniorOrderOfMeritTheJuniorOrderofMerit (JOM) istheofficialpoints-basedrankingsystemoftheJGTA.TheJOMranksplayersbasedontheiraveragepointsearnedpertournament,applyingadivisorof3untilaplayercompetesin3events,theminimumeventsrequiredfortheAJGAtoqualifyaplayerasfullycompetitive.EarningAJGAPBEStatusAttheendofeachseason,AJGAPBEStarsareawardedtocompetitorsbasedontheirJGTAJuniorOrderofMerit(JOM)standing.TheAJGAPBEStarsacompetitorearnsontheJGTAareaddedtotheirtotalAJGAPBEStatusandcanbeutilizedfortheAJGAtournamentapplicationsafterJune1st.

5. SIZEOFFIELDThe field shall be limited to 144 players. Each International member Union/Association can only nominate 4juniorplayers.TheOrganizingCommitteewilltakegreatpleasureininvitingfourplayers(oneofagegroup15-18yearsoldandoneofagegroup12-14yearsoldforboysandgirls),nominatedbyyourUnion/AssociationtoparticipateintheaboveChampionshipandformtwoteams inthe InternationalTeamEvent.TheOrganizingCommitteehas therighttofinalizethenumberofgolferstoplayinthistournament.

6. CADDIESDURINGCOMPETITON

11. TIES

Tiesforfirstplace,inbothIndividualOverallandTeamChampionofclassA&Bcompetitions,willbesettledbyahole-by-holesuddendeathplay-off.ForTeamChampionplay-off,TeamCaptainshouldappointoneoftheteammembers from Class A or B to represent their teams in the hole-by-hole play-offs. Allminor placings shall bedecidedbasedonacountbacksystemasfollows:

12. OFFICIALPRACTICEROUNDAllplayersmustpayacaddyfeeofRp.350.000,-fortheofficialpracticerounddayonMondayMorning,MAY202019,atDamaiIndahGolf-PIKCourse(Lastteeofftimeat11.00)andmustbereservedinadvance.PracticeroundbeforethatdatewillbesubjecttopaymentofGreenFees.ThisdoesnotapplytoMembersofDamaiIndahGolf. Playersmay practice at the driving range upon payment on his/her account (IDR.55.000,- PRICE FOR 50BALLS).

13. RULESOFGOLF

TheChampionshipwillbeplayedinaccordancewiththeRulesofGolfapprovedbyTheR&ARulesLimitedandtheUSGA,AdditionalConditionofCompetitionandLocalRulesapprovedbytheOrganizingCommittee.Disputes, ifany,willbesettledbytheOrganizingCommittee,andadecisionmadebytheOrganizingCommitteewillbefinal.

14. PACEOFPLAY

TheplayershallplayinaccordancewiththelaiddownPaceofplayguidelines.

15. COMPETITIONCLOSEDThechampionshipshallbedeemedtohaveclosedwhentheprizeshasbeenawardedtothewinners.

16. DECISION

IfarefereehasbeenappointedbytheCommittee,his/herdecisionisfinal(rule20-2).In absence of referee, any dispute or doubtful point on the rulesmust be referred to the Committee,whosedecisionsisfinal(rule20-2).

17. DISPUTESAnydisputesordoubtfulpointsontherulesshallbereferredtotheCommitteeassoonaspossibleoncompletionoftheroundandinanycasenotlaterthan15minutesafterfinishingtheround.

18. INDEMNITYORLIABILITIESInsigningofentryform,participantinthistournamentshalltestifyandnotholdliabletotheorganizer.TheOrganizing committeeand their staffwill notbe responsible forany lossdamageorharm,orany formofinjuriesthatparticipationofthetournamentmaysufferasresultoftheirparticipationinthistournament.

19. MOTORIZEDCARSUnless otherwise permitted by the Committee, players shall not use automotive transportation during astipulatedround.GOLFCARTWILLBEPROVIDEDFORTEAMCAPTAINSONLY:IDR200.000,-/day(PERSONALCOST)

20. EVACUATIONPLANRulesofficials,observers,rovingmarshalswilltakeplayersandcaddiestoshelteronthecourseuntilthe4busessituatedonthecoursewillfetchandtransportedthemtotheClubhouse.Locationofbusesonthecourse:

• BusNo.1(betweenClubhouseandteebox10)Forevacuationofplayersonhole1,2,10,17,and18.

• BusNo.2(onroadbehindgreen14andshelterhole15)Forevacuationofplayersonhole2,3,4,15and16.

• BusNo.3(onroadbehindteebox5andgreen14)Forevacuationofplayersonhole5,6,9,13and14.

• BusNo.4(onroadbehindgreen12andteebox13)Forevacuationofplayersonhole7,8,9,11and12.

Allplayersandtheircaddieswillbetransportedbackto their last locationonthecourse,whilewaiting for thesignalforresumeplay.

21. INCLEMENTWEATHER

TheCommitteewillmakeeveryefforttocompletethiseventinitsentirety.However,TheCommitteereservestherighttosuspendorabandonplayasnecessaryifweather-relatedcircumstancesrequiresuchaction.Intheunlikelyeventthecourseisunplayableandabandonsplayorotherconditionswarrantingsuchaction.The

CommitteethenwilldecidetheactiontakenforTheTournamentandallcompetitorswillbeinformedaccordingly.

22. SERIOUSBREACHOFPLAYERCONDUCTAllplayersshouldplayinthespiritofthegameasdetailedoutRule1.2oftheRulesofGolf.Theoverridingprincipleisthatconsiderationshouldbeshowntoothersonthecourseatalltime.Thefollowingmaybeconsidered“seriousbreachesofplayerconduct”forthiscompetition:

(i) Theuseofmobilephonesandanyothersimilarnoisemakingdevicesduringplaytotheannoyanceanddistractionsofotherplayers.

However,repetitiveusageofamobilephonewithoutconsiderationtootherplayers,or(ii) Intentionallydistractingoroffendingotherplayers,or(iii) Verbalabuseofotherplayers/officials/staff,

willbeconsideredasunbecomingconduct(aseriousbreachofmisconduct–Rule1-2a).Note:Anyother“breachofconduct”notlistedabovewillbedealtwithbytheCommitteeonanindividualbasis.PENALTYFORSERIOUSBREACHOFPALYERCONDUCT:DISQUALIFICATIONunderRule1-2a

23. OTHERSa. Tee timesandpairingswill bepostedon theannouncementboardat theClubHouse,websiteandat the

informationdeskattheHotelandwillbedistributedtoallplayersatPIKCourse.b. Markers (scorer) will be assigned to the Class C players. When the situation requires, the Organizing

Committeewillalsoassignamarker(scorer)toplayersinotherclasses.c. Playersmustuseofficialcaddiesassignedbythehostclub.
