The Colt .308 Modular Carbines are lightweight, fully ambidextrous, gas operated, magazine fed, .308 Win caliber carbines. The Colt .308 Modular Carbines incorporate the same safety features found on the M16/M4 weapon systems. The unique design features a modular monolithic upper receiver with a MIL-STD-1913 rail at the 12, 3, and 9 o’clock positions as well as a lower rail system with a MIL-STD-1913 rail at the 6 o’clock position.
