48 - 004Redetermination of the Crystal Structures of the Hexahydroxometal-lates Na2Sn(OH)6, K2Sn(OH)6, and K2Pb(OH)6. — The structure ofthe isotypic title compounds is solved including the hydrogen positions (singlecrystal XRD). The compounds crystallize in the rhombohedral space groupR3 with Z = 3. In all three compounds Sn, respectively Pb is octahedrallycoordinated to OH− ions. Na2Sn(OH)6 possess a CdI2 like superstructure withNa and Sn in octahedral interstices. The O atoms are hexagonal close packed. In solid K2Sn(OH)6 and K2Pb(OH)6 the potassium ions have nine nearest Oneighbors. As revealed by Raman spectroscopy hydrogen bonds are importantin the potassium compounds. — (JACOBS, HERBERT; STAHL, RAINER; Z.Anorg. Allg. Chem. 626 (2000) 9, 1863-1866; Lehrstuhl Anorg.
