TanvasDesigned an interactive art experience featuring Tanvas’ surface haptic technololgy for the Art Institute of Chicago. Researched to identify a promising opportunity. Prototyped a tablet application by learning Android Studio. Introduced design thinking to my co-workers through participation and story telling of user feedback.

UX Design Intern // Summer ‘15

UT Southwestern Analyzed the effects of radiation on bone density by examining PET/CT scans. Improved upon current methodolgy by gaining a deeper understanding of the analysis software. Presented findings that became the basis of an academic paper.

Research Fellow // Summer ‘12

Rice University Teaching Assistant // Fall ‘12, ’14

Designed lesson plans and taught 16 students weekly about computational mathematics using Matlab. Communicated with students through office hours and e-mail. Graded weekly projects.
