Want advice based on

experience?

These are tips I’ve discovered fromexperience…

SALE

Tip #1Discounting your

service or product is not always an incentive for someone to hire you or

buy your product.so stop having sales.

• I use to run a sale 2-5 times a year and I found that more people purchased when I didn’t have a sale than when I did!

• Cutting prices hurts others in your industry, making it less lucrative for everyone else including you!

Tip #2Step away from your computer

and network offline

attending 1 networking

event a month helped me to

build my online network faster than constantly trying to do it strictly online.

Makes sense right?People like to connect a

physical face to a product or service.

Tip #3 Cut loose the ties!

Stop doing whatever seems counterproductive and not profitable, but be sure to

analyze your mistakes.

What do I mean?I use to LOVE creating fabric

jewelry pieces, BUT it didn’t sell! SoI stopped.

Before I stopped I looked at the web analyticsbehind the online presence of the collection.

Tip #4Tell your story, people want to hear it!

I got great advice from Hamilton Brown

(Senior Marketing Director, Taco

Bell) at Blogalicious and

that was customers love transparency, they

want to connect a story to your brand, so tell

it!

Tip #5A Facebook fan page is NOT a

replacement for an actual website. You need BOTH!

You see how often Facebook changes their look and

algorithm right?

A Facebook page is secondary to your website. You need a web presence…end of story.

Hope you enjoyed the Ride!
