Mr. Rohit Relan is a technocrat with over 30 years experience in the automotive
component industry. Belonging to one of the oldest industrial families of Delhi,
promoters of the Relan Group, he is a Chartered Accountant by profession and
an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School of the Owner President Program.
He has also attended the Management Development program of the INSEAD
France.
Mr. Relan is promoter of the Relan Group and is also the Managing Director of
Bharat Seats Ltd, a joint venture of Maruti Suzuki and Relans, since 1986. It is a
TPM certified Company from JIPM, and a major supplier of automotive
components to Maruti Suzuki and Suzuki Motorcycle India Ltd. The Relans have
had a long and successful relationship or over 25 years with Japanese
collaborators. The Relan group is a diversified, multi-product Group of companies
with expertise in manufacturing components for the automotives and white
goods sectors. The Group is also a pioneer in financial services. Driven by quality,

Rohit is actively involved with various technology partners in Japan and is actively
involved in the Indo-Japanese business circles. He is also an active member of
the WPO/YPO (World President Organization / Young President Organization ) and

Dr. Rajat Kumar is a senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service, and has
worked in various administrative and policy making capacities in the state and
central governments. Among other assignments he has worked as Sub Collector
Bhuvangiri, Joint Collector, Mahbubnagar and the Collector and District
Magistrate of Vizianagaram. During his deputation with the Government of India
he has worked in the Commerce and Industry Ministry, where he looked after
the Manufacturing Policy, Business Environment, Paper and Cement Divisions.
He has also done significant work in development of the Approach Paper for the
12th Five Year Plan for Industry in India.
He is currently working as Commissioner of Industry, Commerce and Export
Promotion of Andhra Pradesh. In his present capacity, he is responsible for the
registration and development of industries in the state. As the chairman of the
state level Single Window Committee he oversees the granting of all
permissions, licenses and clearances for setting up and operating industries in
Andhra Pradesh. He also administers the provisions of the Industrial Incentives
and Promotion Policy of the Govt. of AP, and the MSME Act and the various
schemes of the Dept. of Commerce of the Government of India.
Dr. Kumar's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology degree in
Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, a
PhD in Economics from Osmania University, and a Masters in International
Development from Harvard University. He was the recipient of the Asia Pacific
Environmental Fellowship in 2003 and the Joint Japan-World Bank Scholarship in

Ms. Ambika Sharma is currently Deputy Secretary General and Head –
International at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry
(FICCI). Ms. Sharma joined FICCI in 1986 and has over the years overseen and
contributed towards policy work and engagements of various divisions at FICCI.
During her tenure at FICCI she had led various domestic and international teams
including the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and Oceania, Africa and Foreign

As Deputy Secretary General and Head of International Operations, she is
