Bridge Mode Setup(RTA1025W Rev 2)

Bridge Mode

This guide will take you through the steps required to set your modem to bridged mode.

1. Open your web browser and go to the address http://192.168.1.1, using admin as theusername and password.

2. Select “Advanced” from the menu at the top of the page.3. Select “Internet” from the menu on the lefthandside of the page and then

“Connections” from underneath this.4. Remove the “pppoe” connection by placing a tick in the “Remove” checkbox as per

the screenshot below.5. Click the “Remove” button.6. Once the “pppoe” connection has been removed, click the “Add” button.

7. Ensure “atm0/(0_8_35)” is selected from the pulldown menu as per the screenshotbelow.

8. Select “Bridging”9. If you wish to change your connection, enter a new name in the “Enter Service

Description” section.

10. Click “Save/Apply” to save your connection settings.11. Once saved, click “Local Network” from the menu on the lefthandside of the page.12. Click on “DHCP Server” from underneath this.

13. Select “Disable DHCP Server” as per the screenshot below.

14. Click the “Apply/Save” button to save the changes.

Your modem will now reboot. When it has finished restarting, it will then be in bridgedmode.
