Bone-Tissue-Engineering Conference
12 - 14 October 2017
Venue: Wappenhalle ICM, Munich, Germany
Conference Chair: Prof. Martijn van Griensven
Klinikum rechts der Isar Technische Universität München
ear participants of bone-tec 2017!
Bone and the adjacent structures are fascinating tissues for many different disciplines. The bone-tec conference is bring-ing all these disciplines together since 2008. The beauty of bone-tec is that both clinicians and scientists are discussing together and presenting their views on scaffolds and matri-ces for musculoskeletal engineering, drug delivery systems, growth factors and gene therapy, cells and cell-based thera-pies, immune system and musculoskeletal tissue regenera-tion, bone regeneration, cartilage, ligament and tendon en-gineering, regeneration of musculoskeletal interfaces, novel strategies to musculoskeletal regeneration: bioreactors and cell printing technologies, clinical applications and hurdles of clinical translation.
The first conferences of bone-tec were held in Hannover, the working place of Dr. Karl-Heinz Schuckert, the initiator of bone-tec. In 2013, bone-tec was hosted in Singapore (Prof. Teoh) and in 2015 in Stuttgart (Prof. Schenke-Layland). Cut-ting edge state-of-the-art translational and basic science will be presented alongside clinical studies. This will partly be presented by invited speakers and yourself from 26 countries all over the world.
Besides the science, Munich also offers a great venue for the hours outside the conference. Munich has a roaring night-life and it is worth coming earlier or stay longer to see much of a rich cultural heritage, do shopping or go to the mountains, which are nearby.
We welcome you in Munich for bone-tec 2017!
With our best regards
