Thierry MAYSOUNABE has been working in the Oil & Gas

Industry for more than 19 years.

He started his career in R&D where he was in charge of

developing technologies for Drilling Fluids and Cement, and

has later worked on the field worldwide, both onshore and

offshore, before moving to engineering positions, office-based.

Thierry specialized himself on all chemical processes

applicable to the O&G Industry;

Drilling Fluids,

Cement Chemistry and Technologies,

Drilling Waste Treatments and Management

Formation Damage,

Well Stimulations,

Production Chemical Treatments

Through his different positions with major operators (Total,

Shell, Maurel & Prom, Perenco), Leading Service Companies

(MI Swaco, Schlumberger Dowell, Halliburton Baroid, CECA)

and Chemicals manufacturers (Rhodia, MPC, SEPPIC,

NovaPalm Technologies, Unichem ...).

His deep understanding of the well requirements and behavior,

his knowledge of interactions occurring between the different

fluids present in the well and the integration of other

disciplines’ requirements led Thierry having impressive records

and experience in trainings design & delivery and mentoring of

new engineers.

His passion for R&D and New Technical challenges makes his

courses always in line with the last technological evolutions on

the market.
