The outcome to this brief was to be a fully functioning website for photographer Thierry Sewell. The concept behind the design was to let the images speak for themselves, for this to work i had to design to a clean and minimalist aesthetic. The was acheived by keeping text to a minimum and making the images as large as possible on the screen.

The userbility of the site was also paramount, the site had to appeal to potential clients. So making the navigation of the site as easy, simple and pleasing as possible was a big factor. This was acheived by using a fixed left hand side navigation panel, this is the best place for a navigation to be situated because it is what the eye sees first when looking across the page.

The positioning of the logo in the top left was also chosen because it is the first place the eye will look when viewing the site, this means that Thierry’s branding is instantly seen by a client.
