  • T C Communiqué The Newsletter for AzGA TCs Number 126 May 17, 2011 The number one priority for the organization that came from the T C Spring Conference was the AzGA website, but we had already been working on a redesign. If you haven’t had a chance to look at the new site, take a moment now. Also please NOTE: the address has changed slightly to http://geoallinace.asu.edu/azga/

The website is an ongoing project which will be added to as we have money and time. Joining by On-Line Membership is under construction. A TC tab is under construction. When it is ready we will give you a sign in / password in order to see the tab.

HELP!! If you have a copy of Geography for Life that you no longer want, we could use it. We desperately need at least 2 copies. Please mail it to us, or drop it by the office, or if you live near Gale put it on her doorstep (or Malcolm’s, Bob’s or Ron’s doorsteps). Thanks for the help!

T yÉÜÅtÄ g{tÇ~ lÉâ yÉÜ ÉâÜ gVá4 AzGA is, like everyone else, experiencing change. We at AzGA Central want to thank all of the TC volunteers who have stepped up to help the organization through these changes and for all the help we’ve received to grow and improve the organization over the years. In particular - All the TCs who attended Spring Conference and have taken on Strategic Planning tasks (picture and see chart below). The crew who showed up and worked for Pizza moving AzGA materials from one storage area in Coor to another

Mike Glenn Malcolm Comeaux Bob Mings Dennis Rees

Katrina Blouin Larry Blouin Danna Lagerquist Heather Moll

Diane Godfrey Gale Ekiss Jeffrey Ekiss

    Germaine Barnes Ron Dorn

All the TCs who have presented, facilitated, set up, cleaned up, organized, advertised and generally “worked” GeoFest, GeoDayTrip and GeoConference; attended and contributed to T C Spring Conference; done outreach tables at conferences and shown great

professionalism when presenting and supporting other AzGA TCs at national conferences. We don’t say it often enough, but we know how lucky we are to work with such great volunteers.

Thank you! T C Conference, Wickenburg

    Strategic Planning Committee Update

Following is a list of the Strategic Planning Committees and the members of each committee. We seem to be missing some people on the committees who were at the meeting! If this is not the phone number or email at which you wish to be contacted, please let me know. Please review the committees and if you see that you are on the wrong committee, were left off the committee you volunteered for, or, if you couldn’t make the meeting but would like to join a committee, please email cathy.davis@asu.edu. These are self-selected committees. Thanks.
